  Help!  I am looking for computer software with the following behavior:


    INPUT:   interferometric data (preferably graphic, as in the digitized
             output of an interferometer)

    OUTPUT:  contour (or other) map of surface error
          

  I know this is an incredibly specific request, but since such software is
available commercially I figure it's worth asking about before I go and try
to write it myself !!

  I would also be very interested in hearing about stuff like image processing
algorithms, etc. if you know of any.  Again, what I'm trying to do is save
money <and> time, which is of course asking quite a bit !!
