I was thinking about getting hold of something cheap and UNIX-like for my PC and wondered what users thought of Coherent. I came across an early user last year who sent their copy back (I think they had problems with the compiler) - I would imagine that the current version was somewhat improved on the first version that came out(?). From a brief scan thro' the news articles I get the impression that Coherent is suffers from the same segmented meemory restrictions as DOS. If this is the case, is a 386 version planned? How does Coherent compare to Minix, MKS Toolkit(not cheap!), etc.?
