DON"T use SIGNOFF, that's for getting OFF a mailing list...
You should use SUBSCRIBE.
There a bunch of other commands (none of them comes to my mind) but I
have a file that I got on CI$ explaining this ('cause you can receive
the BITNET mailing there.. But that was before I got really connected to
the net... Much better ;-) ).
