The scenario: a) Two Webster multiport gateways, one running transition ethertalk routing (hence our phase 2 network has a single net number range) b) Two Kinetics fastpaths - phase 2 only c) DEC VAX running LANworks (phase 2) and acting as the seeder d) a cisco with phase 2 routing turned on. (an IGS running 8.2 rel 3) I know I can't exhaustively provide the whole scoop here as to our network setup, but ever since phase 2 routing was turned on in the cisco, problems have turned up with *all* zones disappearing from the chooser on ethernet connected macs (sometimes only a few disappear - this occurs if the Mac is on phase 1 or 2). Has this problem turned up elsewhere, and if so where should I start looking to track this sucker down ?? I'm _very_ perplexed by what is going on. I don't really want to hang a sniffer on my net and look at all the packets :-) ..... ian -- Ian Hoyle /\/\ Image Processing & Data Analysis Group / / /\ BHP Research - Melbourne Laboratories / / / \ 245 Wellington Rd, Mulgrave, 3170 / / / /\ \ AUSTRALIA \ \/ / / / \ / / / Phone : +61-3-560-7066 \/\/\/ FAX : +61-3-561-6709 E-mail : ianh@resmel.bhp.com.au
