Lauderdale, FL Lines: 21 Scenario: A user gets his pc-nfs upgraded to 3.5 (from 3.0.1) and now runs into difficulties when doing file-saves (in FN). One of two possible scenarios - mouse becomes inoperative, or system locks up. Fixes: The lost mouse appears to be related to a anti-piracy key placed on the LPT1 port (was there when working under 3.0.1) ... not the person does not use lpt1 redirection. The mysterious crashes will only happen with LPT1 redirection, & someone else using the networked copy of FN. This was working under 3.0.1, again lpt1 redirection appeared to be the cause. question: what changed in the print redirection in 3.5 to make us now fail? leoh@hdw.csd.harris.com Leo Hinds (305)973-5229 Gfx ... gfx ... :-) whfg orpnhfr V "ebg"grq zl fvtangher svyr lbh guvax V nz n creireg ?!!!!!!? ... znlor arkg gvzr
