I've read the '040 Designers Handbook, the information presented within it would leave one to think that it should be fairly straight forward (ie one chapter is devoted to interfacing an '040 to an '030 system, including PAL equations for the interfacing logic plus suggested methods). With the '040 now moving into production quantities this should be a real possibility. Malcolm Evans (m_evans@fennel.cc.uwa.oz.au) Computer Science Dept. University Of Western Australia Perth WA
