We are looking to expand our mass storage capability, but we are getting conflicting information from various groups within HP/Apollo concerning SCSI support for the DN3k/4k series workstations. Pertinent info : 1) SCSI disks to be attached only to OS SR10.1 or higher nodes. 2) We would like to hook up SCSI drives of > 600 Mb, if possible. If anyone out there on the net has done this, could they please tell us what brand name of equipment was used (HP/Apollo, Western Digital, etc), whether or not any additional hardware was needed (SCSI controller cards, cables, etc.) and price information ? Many thanks in advance ! 8-) Randy Taylor Westinghouse Electric Corp.
