Naturally, I wonder: 1) Should I get one for our lab. Meaning, does anyone at UT have one, are they supported, what year technology are they, do they have a history of having their fail, etc. What CPU do they have, are there tech manuals... Gosh, the list goes on. Think up something and answer me. 2) Does anyone else want the other one/have one to sell cheaper/have an idea of a fair price for a working/as is unit. 3) I saw things like X-windows listed in a comprehensive Apollo catalog. Does this model support X windows? Can I generally port anything as conveniently as any other unix platform. Are Aegis, Domain flavors of unix? Do I want to get Sys V and figure that into my purchase price decision? -- Aubrey McIntosh / Chemistry / University of Texas / Austin, TX 78712 ..another Gaelic learner...
