(as a 'spare part') a Megafile 30 controller board. Presuming yours isn't DOA (as my first two were) it is a direct ACSI-RLL adapter. Now, lots of people will jump on me and say 'but the NEC is only MFM' - this is true - however I have had a very good run with NEC harddisks, in particular with my 3142, which has been running RLL for about a year on a daily basis with no problems whatsoever. The 20MB unit may do the same. Find someone who will let you dissect their Megafile and try it :) Good Luck! Matthew
