Throughput on graphics and complicated pages can potentially be faster than the III, in spite of a slower print engine. Also if you add the optional lower cassette, you have a two-bin printer like the IIID. >Most of my print jobs require only about 10 pages, so I can deal >with a slower laser. But, can I still plug in one of those font >cartriges, like PacificPage's font cartrige? > The IIIP has only one cartridge slot compared to the III's two. PacificPage is =NOT= a "font cartridge". It is a Postscript Language interpreter which happens to have 35 resident fonts. Pacific Data's =font= cartridge for the III, the Complete Font Library cartridge, works fine on the IIIP. ------- It looks like the IIIP would be ideal for you. -- Mike Schuster | CIS: 70346,1745 NY Public Access UNIX: ...cmcl2!panix!schuster | MCI Mail, GENIE: The Portal (R) System: schuster@cup.portal.com | MSCHUSTER
