GEnie has said it is working on an Internet mail connection. There seems to be a lot of interest in it from the GEnie user community; a ``How can I sent mail to an Internet site'' topic gets created every couple of weeks and almost immediately is closed by the topic police with a note to the effect that it's being looked into. You might want to go ahead and get your own GEnie account. It's only $4.95/month for off-peak access, and email is free. There is a $6/hour (U.S.) access fee to download files and use most of the computer- related roundtables and multiuser games (such as Air Warrior). Most of the rest of the system is free with the basic membership. ---- Steve Yelvington, Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota, USA / steve@thelake.mn.org
