Lines: 11 You're correct. .cpt are Compactor files. You need Extractor or Compactor to get them out. Extractor is a free utility capable of 'uncompressing' both Compactor and Stuffit files. I've been using it for some time now and it's pretty straight forward to use. The only problem I've had is that Gatekeeper doesn't like it (surprise surprise) but them again Gatekeeper doesn't like a lot of things including Macintalk so I don't think it's a big deal. You should be able to get extractor from most ftp sites, probably under utilities or some such directory. dave
