The fonts folder is in the system folder and the driver is in the extensions folder. The only time I get a message indicating "using bitmapped fonts" is in the cases where I have tossed the HP outline fonts and am just using the True Type fonts for display and printout. I only kept the HP fonts where there is no True Type equivalent -- anyway, I get the HP fonts for "free", and I agree that if I had to pay real money for them I would just go with True Type :-).
