Summary: Which eternet boards support IP (Internet Protocol)? Keywords: ethernet,IP Message-ID: <1991May30.141316.827@ccu.umanitoba.ca> Date: 30 May 91 14:13:16 GMT Distribution: comp.sys.mac.hardware Organization: University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada Lines: 16 I am interested in info about which Ethernet boards come bundled with a driver level interface fo implementing the Internet Protocols. I am considering writing an apllication which must communicate over ethernet using Internet Protocols which are not part of the Appletalk software interface. The protocols I need to use are proprietary, vendor-specific protocols, and I need access to low-level Internet calls (somewhere around the network layer and above). Thanking you in advance....
