Help! Message-ID: <1991May28.102501.8441@cc.curtin.edu.au> Date: 28 May 91 02:25:00 GMT Organization: Curtin University of Technology, Perth. W.Aust. Lines: 23 Having just upgraded from a trusty old 'Plus to an LC I'm having a few problems with colo[u]r PICTs and CLUTS. I've got a GIF file (no, not *that* type of GIF) that I want to use as a startup picture, or more generally as a PICT that I can paste into text, etc. When I use Giffer, or other GIF programs, to save it in PICT format I seem to lose the file's CLUT, because when I load it into another application (or use it as a startup screen if I save it as a resource) all the colo[u]rs are weird. Is this a problem with Giffer, the file, me, the Universe, what? Help appreciated. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------- | Dept Computer Engineering, Curtin University of Technology / o ---- | Perth. Western Australia.
