I know that I can do a get info on the trash so I can end those notices
each time I empty the trash.    In fact, I have done that many times. 
However, on my system the trash seems to reset itself to give notices. 
It does it each time I turn the system on, but it also does it at other
times (but I haven't isolated exactly what causes it to do this).

Any ideas what is happening?  Any suggestions to get the trash to
remember not to notify me after I tell it to be quiet in the get info box?
