After installing some more memory in my LC, I noticed that the
system size went up from what used to be approx. 800kb (having
2Mb RAM installed) to over 2.4 Mb (with 10Mb RAM installed).

After removing all cdevs, da's and everything else that is " non-
Apple", I still was not able to reduce the amount of RAM the
system occupies to less than 2.4 Mb with an absolutely bare-bones
system 6.0.7 running Multifinder with a 32 kb RAM cache.

Has anyone seen something like this happen before who would be
willing to share his/her insights into the cause of the problem?
