We are thinking about buying an 8mm tape drive from 3rd Wave computing. 
The quoted price is $2,500. It comes with retrospect. 

3rd Wave computing is a mail order company ( advertised on MacWorld ) and I 
like to know their reputation.  So if you have any experience dealing with 
them, please share it with me.
