Thanks in > advance. My first guess is that you are using the new TMON Pro. I had the very same reaction when I started running System 7.0 and then I realized that I was still running TMON Pro in "robust" mode. This took up nearly another Meg all by itself. If you truly have *everything* switched off, then get rid of fonts and sounds, because they certainly will eat up huge gobs of RAM. Also, try removing the bitmap fonts from you system file for those fonts for which True Type fonts exist. If you really need to trim the system, dump the True Type fonts and install only a couple of sizes of the bitmap fonts. Good Luck. My current plan is to buy some 4 MEG SIMMs. - Ed Rotberg -
