"Grey-window-syndrome") Keywords: system, file, error Message-ID: <4793@gmdzi.gmd.de> Date: 28 May 91 09:20:46 GMT Organization: GMD, St. Augustin, F.R. Germany Lines: 15 At my NeXT the Application Font changed. I could not set it to Helvetica (Preferences). Log out and new log in did not help. Even reboot changed nothing. Only after interrupting (Command-Command-~) and booting from the ROM monitor (thereby forcing a fsck) my Helvetica reappeared. I too suspect IComm: after trying to set the tty to 19200 and even parity, characters from or to that tty appeared in a terminal window and somewhat shocked I logged out and then I was shocked by Courier. But I do NOT want to blame the author of IComm. NO user programm should be able to disturb the file system. j.k.
