It works just fine. Distance shouldn't be a problem, as the distance from the cubes to the 10Base-T hubs in our case is over 40 or 50 meters. Are you sure that you are using twisted-pair cables and the the correct pairs of wires are twisted together? I assume that the HP hubs that you are using are 10Base-T compatible. louie
