I'm in the (possibly unusual) situation of publishing papers that reference
papers written by my wife, and we have the same last name; she has the same
problem.  BibTeX makes no distinction between these in citations in the text--
we use an APA-like .bst file that gives citations like [Turner, 1989], where
you don't know of "Turner" is Elise or me.  Is there any way to get BibTeX to
recognize that there are two of us with the same name and give citations like
[E. Turner, 1989] and [R. Turner, 1989] instead of [Turner, 1989a] and
[Turner, 1989b]?  I'm tired of hand-editing the .bbl file!!
