The right and left brackets are in different columns, so I have to use dummy matching brackets in each column. The result of doing this is that the size of the left and right brackets don't match. Does anybody know how I can change the size of one of the brackets so that it will match the other? I have tried using \large, but that doesn't seem to do anything at all.
