I have had no previous experience with Unix and I need help with "dump". The manuals I have do not go into detail as far as dump and restore are concerned. I would appreciate it tremendously if someone could tell me the exact method of dumping to a floppy disk in BSD 4.2. I would like to back the software up before I start fiddling around with it. I understand it was ment for a tape, but the system will dump to disk as I have some feature disks that are in dump format. Please reply here or mail me Thank's in advance Brian Bandura brianb@ersys.edmonton.al.ca Brian Bandura brianb@ersys.edmonton.ab.ca Edmonton Remote Systems: Serving Northern Alberta since 1982
