However, the older distribution of X386 also had the core XR14 ready to install (includes, libs, man pages etc). In addition, there was also a collection of binaries for popular xclients. I just installed the files available from uunet ( X/contrib2/386ix* ) and the X3861.1a update with 1.1a binary version of the server. I am glad to report that almost everything worked with very little work from my part. I am running ISC 2.2, with a Diamond SpeedStar + Sony 1304. Question: 1. Are the libs and xclients in the uunet distribution up to date with the "master" archive at muechen.informatik? I have at least one problem with the version I have -- xclock bombs every time I run it. 2. Is there a binary for the 1.1b server anywhere?
