Early) Organization: University of Virginia Computer Science Department Lines: 20 Sorry for the blank posting, I messed up! I am trying to set up an Ultrix machine as an Apple file server through a (Cayman) GatorBox. I have followed all of Cayman's instructions, including troubleshooting recommendations, but alas, no success. What happens is that I get a "Authentication using files failed" error, which suggests that it's not reading /etc/passwd or /etc/group properly. (We use this for authentication). So, if you have a setup with a GatorBox and Ultrix (or something similar) please send me some email and we'll communicate.
