Keywords: digiboard, xenix, xonxoff, printers Message-ID: <42@dworkin.UUCP> Date: 28 May 91 20:32:21 GMT Lines: 23 Greetings - I have a customer running SCO Xenix 2.3.3, 2 (count 'em, 2) DigiBoard 8i's, a host of terminals, and 2 Okidata 2410 serial printers. The problem? Well, for about a week, I had the two Oki's set for xon/xoff handshaking, and things worked peachy. 19200 baud, full bore, running 200+ page reports or more. Then, it quit. Just plain stopped. I can send a job to the printer, ala: lp -dOkidata3 Test, and it'll print a page before overflowing the buffer. We did not change *ANYTHING* - no mkdev lp, (the Digiboard suppled interface scripts are still there), no new kernel, no changing dippy twitches on the printers. SCO Xenix 2.3.3 Digiboard driver v4.3 (or 4.2 - can't remember) Joe '386/33 from Austin computers w/16meg RAM, 330meg ESDI. Technician panic: pulse halted.
