Ack. This WAS true. This is NO LONGER true. As of revision 3.11 (January 4, 1991), the Tseng Labs 4000 chipset 800x600x256 Windows 3.0 driver now supports 512K cards. You will notice in the SETUP.INF from that package that in the [display] section, the line for that driver reads: vga468 = 6:vga468.drv, "SpeedSTAR (512K) 800x600, 256 colors", ... Furthermore, I have a 512K card, and the driver works just fine for me. Maybe it only works on Diamond SpeedSTARs, but I doubt that. Any questions? Jason Merrill jmerrill@jarthur.claremont.edu
