Subject:    PS softfonts in Win 3

Help!
Can anyone advise me on how to use Postscript Type-1 softfonts in Windows 3?
I have several fonts converted from Corel 2.0 format, and want to use them in

other Windows apps (Pagemaker, Word). I tried downloading them manually, then
putting the appropriate softfontN= statement in my win.ini, but the app will
not print with that font. Can anyone recommend a reference to guide me in
the right direction? (The standard Win User's Guide is very vague). Thanks.
