INFO, anyone? Message-ID: <1991May29.145110.14673@msuinfo.cl.msu.edu> Date: 29 May 91 14:51:10 GMT Sender: news@msuinfo.cl.msu.edu Organization: Dept. of Computer Science, Michigan State University Lines: 22 Originator: goh@galaxy.cps.msu.edu It seemed that isn't much talk about HP New Wave in this group, even though the program is suppose to run on top of Windows. I've only a brief session with the pre-released version. Did not get to see much of what it can do since most applications does not run in the New Wave environments. Tried bridging some Window 3.0 utilities like the clock but it did not work. I do like the idea of dragging objects to the printer icon to print it. However, I noticed that it takes up a considerable amount of disk space (about 10 MB or more). Anyway, I only worked on the pre-released version, a lot of things could have been change since then. I might consider purchasing it if anyone could provide a more detailed insight of the program, like how good is its support for both windows and DOS applications, whether it will run under OS/2 2.0 or later in its future upgrades or current version (3.0 I suppose). Any helpful information or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Yang Chong Goh Computer Science Department Voice : (517)-337-4099 Michigan State University. Email : goh@cps.msu.edu.
