Summary: Why do things go into a window a weird times? Message-ID: Date: 30 May 91 02:55:58 GMT Sender: news@bronze.ucs.indiana.edu (USENET News System) Organization: Indiana University Lines: 13 Have you ever been working in a dos program and had it go into a window for no reason? It happens to me every once in a blue moon. For example I use turbo c version 1.5. I can not run it in a window from a pif. But I was working on it and a notepad (the one the comes with windows) and when I switched from the notepad back to TC it came up in a window. The weird part was that it was active and worked just fine. So I said good deal and went to change my pif. When I tried to spawn TC in a window it would not let me. Anyhow I am working in 386 mode if that matters. If you have any ideas please post them. I would love to be able to run this and several other dos apps in windows.
