Keywords: control panel, printer, configure Message-ID: <7529@vice.ICO.TEK.COM> Date: 30 May 91 21:30:51 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: Tektronix Inc., Beaverton, Or. Lines: 21 I've finally found a fix for most of the irritating little startup problems I've had with WIN3, but the last one is driving me crazy. I consistently get a UAE when I try to switch printer orientation thru the control panel or WfW file menu. If I reboot and try again, everything works fine. I'm using a 386 system in enhanced mode with a HP LJ2. The only "nonstandard" item is that I'm using COM2 as the printer port and sharing the printer with two other users thru a mux. Is this likely to cause a problem? Am I the only one who's seen this? (Paranoia sets in!) If you don't know the answer, can you suggest something to try?
