Has to be a bug in the FlatCheckbox code, then, one that is chip-related (i.e. a bug that is benign on the '386 but not on the SPARC). For what it is worth, the originally posted code is correct, except for the XtArgVal. > Does anybody have any > suggestions on what I can do to make the FlatCheckBox's work in the > meantime? If you don't have the source to the OpenWindows 2.0 release (or at least the source to OLIT), then I believe the answer is "Sorry, no." > Is it possible to obtain the OPEN LOOK 4.0 toolkit now and > will it be the same as the OpenWindows 2.5 OLIT toolkit? Yes, but. Yes, the OPEN LOOK 4.0 toolkit has been available for about 6 months or so, from USL. [I'll send information directly to Stuart Pook, who asked the question.] But, the Sun and USL releases are out of phase, which means OLIT 2.5 (yes, I was mistaken when I called it OpenWindows 2.5) has the advantage of a few months of bug fixing, over the OPEN LOOK 4.0 release. So while you can get the 4.0 code, you may find it has some other (SPARC-related) bugs. My apologies. Steve Humphrey UNIX System Laboratories
