Yes, I know that uwm is not ICCCM compliant. Amazingly the only problem I am having is obtaining focus on XView panel text items. I have tried the following (plus a few other things to stupid to mention): Rebuilding XView with PRE_R4_ICCCM set to YES. Applying the patch posted in "XView application on a DEC" (since its close to R3) Setting window manager hints from the application. Using the XView win_set_kbd_focus routine. Adding a panel notify routine for the text item. Any suggestions for XView, application, or uwm modifications which would allow this to work would be greatly appreciated. David Haugh
