First, let me apologize if I have posted to any completely unrelated groups,
but there isn't anything really similar (hence the need for a new group. :>)
rec.caving would be an unmoderated newsgroup for discusing all aspects of caving
including, but not limited to:

	  +  Cave flora and fauna
	  +  Caving equipment and techniques
	  +  'Cave reports' on caves world-wide
	  +  Cave diving
	  +  Ethics as it relates to caving
	  +  Issues relating to the National Speleological Society

If the group is created, I'll push for an FTP site here at Auburn in which
I'll archive cave reports, maps in gif form, and possibly official NSS
documents etc.

Suggestions, constructive criticisms, suggested names, etc. welcome.
