I want to use one of the electret mike elements (Radio Shack?) I put together an amplifier around the LM 386, with maximum gain. The output is still a tad low. What is the best way to boost it? I tried a generic op-amp pre-amplifier, or adding a single transistor stage - but I guess I'm not matching the impedances right, or something. Any help would be appreciated. PS. You can see I'm a novice, so please be gentle... -- Eric Behr, Illinois State University, Mathematics Department Internet: ejbehr@rs6000.cmp.ilstu.edu Bitnet: ebehr@ilstu
