Message-ID: <1991May28.051644.10905@milton.u.washington.edu> Date: 28 May 91 05:16:44 GMT Organization: Human Interface Technology Lab, Univ. of Wash., Seattle Lines: 20 Approved: cyberoid@milton.u.washington.edu It was a wonderful time that Tom Furness and I spent in Japan, as guests of Fujitsu and the numerous laboratories into which we were cordially and graciously invited. A fuller report will follow, once the jetlag subsides. With Mark DeLoura now preparing for finals, I will be resuming my post as moderator of sci.virtual-worlds. Thanks again to Mark, who is a fitting alter ego. For those interested and in the vicinity, I will be delivering a public lecture in the Design of the Landscape Series at the University of Washington this very Tuesday night, 5/28, at 7:30 PM in the Architecture Hall Auditorium. The topic is "Virtual Worlds, Inside and Out: Designing Humane Environments." I would appreciate any thoughts or comments you have following this presentation, which I hope to expand into a small monograph. Thanks for attending if you can; I need the feedback.
