Message-ID: <129@lake.scar.toronto.edu> Date: 4 Jun 91 18:01:32 GMT Reply-To: rosselet@lake.scar.toronto.edu (Alan Rosselet) Organization: Scarborough Campus, University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada. Lines: 7 We currently operate a thin-ether based LAN of 25 PC/XTs served by a 386/25 running Banyan Vines. We are considering increasing the number of stations from 25 to 49 (the additional 24 stations to be 286 based). I would be interested in hearing of experiences of people who currently operate Banyan LANs with at least this many client PCs. Are there bottlenecks with either the server machine or the ethernet? Will summarize if responses merit.
