What I want: My HST DUAL STANDARD to answer and respond to both v.32 modems, and HST modems. Either way, I want the modem to figure it out. My problem: When my modem is set to answer with v.32 tones, other HST's can't connect above 2400 baud. When my modem is set to answer with HST tones, v.32 modems connect at 2400 baud. Is there a setting that I have wrong, which would allow for high-speed connections from both types, that I don't have to constantly change?
