Haven't had any experience with the Prometheus 9600 bauds, but for their 2400 baud external modems, "Get 'em while their hot!" is appropriate, I could could just about fry an egg on the ones I used to have. I had to take the option card out of one of them or it would hang up on people as soon as it answered.
