Hiya -
	I'm writing an application which wants to have GIF (Graphic
Interchange Format) support. I was wondering if there was a:
	1) Document which layed out the GIF file format.
	2) Some UNIX utilities which would convert GIF to and from
	   other popular formats such as TIFF.

	Could anyone point me in the right direction? Please reply via 
e-mail as I do not receive these groups (unfortunately :-(  ).
