I am using a SparcStation2 with a CG6 accelerated 8bit display. In order to synchronize the display of image sequences with the refresh of the screen I need to have a routine that tells me about the vertical retrace period. Supposely the XGL Library has a flag called 'XGL_CTX_NEW_FRAME_VRETRACE' used by the routine 'XGL_CTX_NEW_FRAME_ACTION'. Does anybody know how this is implemented? Do I need a new display driver for that feature?
