I am in the process of purchasing a laserdisk player for the course. I would like to show the grad students how to control it from a Mac (level III). I am looking at the Pioneer V2200 and 4200. The 4200 has a lot faster random access but costs almost twice as much and only has wired remote control. I have had no experience with these beasts so I am working with knowledge from reading only. What features are important? Should I be looking at other player lines? The only other one I have read about is Sony. WHere are good sources for discounted players? Any wisdom that you may be willing to pass along would be appreciated. jeff -- Jeff Ersoff Math & Computer Sci., Salem College, Winston-Salem, NC 27108 USENET: jae@ecsvax INTERNET: jae@uncecs.edu
