I know.  I had a pre-polyFORTH I for the 8080 in the late 70's also, yet
Elizabeth has picked 1980 as the point when it became "real". At least in the
system I was using, the "transition" was not quite complete from microFORTH. 
UNTIL was still END and WHILE hadn't been "invented" yet, REPEAT was AGAIN and
KEY was "below" EXPECT.  All those visible clues and more would disappear in
the next few revisions.
