According to some e-mail I got, Richard is able to output troff to
postscript now, so it's apparently a problem with the man command itself.

Or, if you don't have the money for Transcript, or the disk space for
GNU (and you need lots!), get thack (Sun 4's are usually C/A/T troff)
or psroff.  Psroff works quite well on Sun 4's.
