XON/XOFF in their modem simply sends XONs and XOFFs to their computer, it doesn't respond to your XONs and XOFFs, so your test wouldn't have covered their modem config. Perhaps it's unlikely that their modem is bad, since they're a large feed site, but IMHO it should still be checked out. It's always that one little overlooked detail that bites you. Along those lines, you may want to check whether they transmit data to any other T2500 users through that same modem.
