Lawyers want jurors who are as ignorant and naive as possible. They don't want people who can think critically and independently, because such jurors make life more difficult for them. This came out in the Robert Morris trial - both sides went out of their way to exclude jurors who knew ANYTHING about computers. The rather lame reasoning given for this was that they wanted the jurors to concentrate on the moral issues involved, and not to get sidetracked by the technical details. Phil
