Briefly, I use the following two DV macros: First Macro Download a list of all "subjects" in the current newsgroup (using the "=" command). Once the list is downloaded, open a DOS window and use the public domain TED editor to edit the file containing the "subjects". Second Macro I then scan the list of subjects looking for something that I would like to read. The second macro then grabs the article number from the current line, switches back to the News window and types the number. I then read the article and repeat the process. The system is not perfect but it works for me. Please let me know if you have questions (I'm not a Unix guru but I use DV quiet a bit).
