Trouble is, I'm not getting anywhere. So, I decided to swollow my pride and beg for help. :-) I'm trying to write a routine in C to format floppy disks. I have a version that formats 5 1/4" disks, but I can't get the 3 1/2" disks to work. Nearly all of the references I've found on this subject (both books and magazines) have been woefully incomplete; some are just plain *wrong*. Any hints, reference, or discussion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in adavance... Dennis dbm@csd4.csd.uwm.edu
