Summary: Need help with page length and form feeds in WordPerfect 5.1 Keywords: cut sheet feeder, WordPerfect 5.1 Message-ID: <380@daily-planet.concordia.ca> Date: 3 Jun 91 02:40:32 GMT Sender: usenet@daily-planet.concordia.ca Organization: Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec Lines: 24 I have the above mentioned equipment. I have a problem sending printouts to the printer. WordPerfect seems to put form-feeds into the print file, and the paper advances 11 inches. However, when using the cut sheet feeder, each sheet overlaps the next one by one inch, so a formfeed which advances the paper 11 inches goes one inch further down each successive page. I have tried defining a paper type with 10 inches, but the problem persists. I looked in my printer manual, and it doesn't seem to have any way to set the page length to 10 inches. There are pre-determined page length settings of 11, 11.6, 12, 14, 18, 3, 3.5, 4, 5, 5.5 6, 7, 8, and 8.5 inches. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get WordPerfect and my cut-sheet feeder to work together properly? PS, I did go into the printer setup menu and set the "Feeder" item of the "Hardware" menu to single-bin, and I selected the Fujitsu DL3400 printer with mechanical sheet feeder from the WordPerfect printer selection menu.
